Usually Friday night is pizza night (dough recipe) but my little girl turned 8 and asked for pizza for her party. With the recent acquisition of the ceramic grill this also meant doing the pizzas one at a time. After I did six “kid pizzas” (tomato and cheese) I turned my attention to the adults.
I purchased some fresh mozzarella and made four different adult pies. Here is one with garlic, olive oil, basil, and cherry tomatoes.
And this one is a basil pesto with piquillo peppers pizza. I made a “house sausage” and radicchio one as well but unfortunately that stuck to the peal a bit and wasn’t quite photogenic enough. As was the case with the previous attempt the 650-675 degree temperature range churned out some great pizza.
Good looking crust on that pizza. Good looking pizzas.
Thanks!
Happy Birthday to your lovely daughter. I love her T-Shirt and peach sign necklace. Great pizzas.
Have a happy day.
🙂 Mandy
Thanks! I passed your message on to her :)!
Great picture of the birthday girl. Your feature on the “Big Green Egg” has a few of my friends in England pondering on whether to purchase one. They’re imported into the UK now and make a much better option than the traditional wood fired oven. As usual, a very excellent post.
I have definitely been liking it and am very much a fan of using it as an oven but more about that soon.
Looks awesome. Happy birthday to your daughter!
Happy birthday to your daughter
is that a harry potter cake?
Ten points for Gryffindor! Sorry, couldn’t resist. Yes my daughter is obsessed with Harry Potter at the moment so we had a Harry Potter cake done by a local cake expert. Is was wonderful.
Happy birthday to your daughter! My son will be 8 next year – I love that you made each kid a special pizza. And they look delicious!
Thank you all for the birthday wishes! They have tickled her greatly.
I love to grill pizza – and I still have green egg envy.
